As a one-time Art History major and a present day admirer of all kinds of  art, I have a natural appreciation for antique and vintage book illustrations. In fact, I absolutely love the graphic design and images found in old books, magazines, stationery, greeting cards, and photographs.

Once matted and framed, a grouping of vintage illustrations or prints makes a fabulous focal point on the walls of any home. Illustrations and other bits and pieces of paper ephemera also make great supplies in the hands of those blessed with that special skill and creativity. I believe the transformation of paper ephemera in the hands of an artist from mere paper into works of art is truly nothing short of magical.
